What I’m going to do is that I will always include the song that inspired somehow the post. NOTE: I noticed that every time I’m writing something I have one song always on repeat. Given its amplified crème formula, it’s completely opaque and. Adding a pop of colour to your face, this is a bright pink shade with blue undertones, making it perfect for fair and dark skin. With a creamy and moisturising texture, this is a great shade for the winter.

I’m sorry it’s not the best quality but it turns out that’s the only decent picture of me on that night. I adore this lipstick and I wear it all the time because it’s perfect for every occasion like everyday wear for the job, school, date, EVERYTHING! Here’s a picture of me on Christmas eve and I wore it because I had kind of a heavy eye makeup which went perfect with the nude shade.

The thing is, the girl who helped me before was looking for nude shades that went well with whiter skin, not my skin color which is a mistake I’m sure many women make. I was so surprised that I actually found a nude shade that went with my skin. I was fascinated on how it looked on me, the texture, the smell, everything. The next day I went to Mac again with her because she wanted to buy something else and I saw the perfect nude lipstick! It caught my attention right away and I asked if I could try it on immediately and bought it without hesitation ($18). They were always too white for my skin or I just didn’t like to it looked, so I ended choosing a dark red (which I will do a review later on). Let me tell you, I tried a variety of shades on the nude side and didn’t find one that I liked.
It wasn’t until last December my bestfriend didn’t know what to get me for Christmas and took me to Mac to get something I wanted. Honestly I spent like 3 and half years looking for that perfect nude shade of lipstick.
Personal glamour and style will always include utilizing the right touches and the right shade of. Lipsticks with a deep and visible color payoff will make a big difference against dark skin tones. I love pairing it with Spice liner from MAC.This is the very first makeup review and I’m so excited for this post because I’m completely in love with what I’m going to present today. Darker skinned consumers used to have a difficult time picking MAC lipstick shades, but the true key is depth. Right here, Taupe looks a bit brighter than it does in reality because my ring light tends to wash me out a little bit it’s actually a bit more bronze-y. Here are a few of my other matte favorites from MAC: Kinda Sexy, Velvet Teddy and Whirl, as compared to Taupe. I also noticed that MAC raised their lipstick prices by $1.00, anyone else noticed that? If I’m going for a less-intense look, then I blot it a little bit with a tissue and only apply a little bit, by lightly dabbing the lipstick on.
Taupeis a great everyday color that actually works quite nicely with my skin tone, which I found surprising because it did look quite dark when I swatched it. As with all of my matte lipsticks from MAC, I love the formula, the wear time and the pigmentation. I actually saw my friend wearing Taupe and even though I had a few similar shades, I didn’t really have anything with such gorgeous reddish, taupe-y tones. It definitely falls in that same “90’s nude” category as Whirl and Velvet Teddy, but it has more of those red-brown hues, which I happen to love. It’s a very pretty, muted, reddish-taupe brown color with a gorgeous, matte finish. MAC’s Taupe is my latest favorite for an everyday makeup. If it ever does happen, it definitely won’t be any time soon.
I don’t know if I’ll ever get tired of these matte, deeply-toned nudes.
